Registration
For interventional clinical trials, report a publicly accessible registry, registration number, registration date, and first participant enrollment date. Prospective registration is expected under ICMJE recommendations. Late registration must be explained and is assessed before review.
Reporting
Provide a protocol and statistical analysis plan where available. Identify outcome changes and explain deviations. Include the relevant reporting checklist and a data-sharing statement. Registration is not a substitute for ethics approval.
