Independent editorial decisions
The Society can propose topics and discuss contributions. The journal’s editors oversee review and decide acceptance. Membership does not confer a right to publication. Work by Society officers is assigned to an editor without a relevant conflict.

The final scholarly record remains on its permanent article page at AMA Press. IAGS links to that publication. Society manuscripts, preprints and statements do not thereby become peer-reviewed journal articles.
