Operational continuity
Database and file backups support recovery of the publishing service. Operational backups and long-term preservation serve different purposes.
Long-term access
Preservation coverage is identified only for confirmed arrangements and deposits. The publisher maintains the bibliographic information and permanent publication links needed to identify each edition.
Continuity of the record
The publisher is responsible for maintaining publication records and for coordinating continuing access if a journal ceases publication. Questions about access or deposited editions can be sent to [email protected].
